ABOUT ME

As the daughter of a chiropractor, I have always believed in the body’s innate intelligence and took a more holistic approach to health and wellness. When my eczema broke out in 2012, my father recommended cutting out red meat, a natural inflammatory, from my diet. In just two months, my skin had cleared up and even the mild patches I would get since I was a child disappeared. That said, I have always been challenged to treat from in the inside out.

In 2023, while training for the Chicago Marathon, I had a 5-week period, that after many appointments to the gynecologists and lots of bloodwork, we could not figure out. At the same time, my body was bloating to an extreme. A coworker of mine even asked when my due date was while working an event. Needless to say, while I may have been in the best shape of my life, I certainly did not feel it.

During this time, my younger sister introduced me to Alisa Vitti’s concept of “cycle syncing.”  After completing the marathon, I began cycle journaling, adjusting my workouts to match my symptoms and eventually altering my diet to support my body’s nutritional needs. Over the course of 6-months, I was able to regain the confidence I had lost and this concept became a guiding principle for my daily life. Now, I can fully embrace every phase of me.
